Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a Tractor Trailer Driver in Apache Junction, AZ to transport, deliver, and retrieve construction equipment while maintaining safety and professional standards. You will inspect vehicles, manage delivery paperwork, and coordinate with branch staff for timely pickups and deliveries.

Pay ranges from $30 to $34 per hour with comprehensive benefits including health coverage, 401(k) matching, and stock purchase opportunities.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years tractor trailer driving experience in the last three years.
• Commercial Driver’s License Class A with tanker endorsement.
• Hazmat endorsement must be obtained within 120 days of employment (assistance provided).
• Current medical card.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transport, deliver and retrieve assorted construction and heavy equipment.
• Operate commercial or non-commercial vehicles in a safe, efficient and professional manner.
• Promote professionalism and excellent customer service attitude.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure all delivery documents are properly maintained during the workday and available for inspection upon request by management or state officials.
• Provide training assistance for customers by answering questions regarding safe vehicle operation.
