Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro in Indiana is seeking a dedicated truck driver to transport trailers between service centers and turn-point locations. You will operate tractor-trailer units, perform pre-trip inspections, hook and unhook trailers, and maintain logs.

The role requires a Class A CDL with double/triple, hazardous materials, and tank endorsements, plus a clean MVR. You must be able to work independently or in a team and stay compliant with DOT regulations in all weather and road conditions.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with double/triple, hazardous materials, and tank endorsements.
• Minimum one year of recent driving experience or completion of a driver development course.
• Acceptable MVR and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Ability to handle trailer hookup, lift, and physical demands.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Demonstrates initiative, motivation, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer units, including doubles and triples where applicable.
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections.
• Hook and unhook trailers and converter dollies.
• Complete documentation, reports, and maintain accurate logs.
• Ensure compliance with hazardous material regulations and company policies.
• Follow dispatch instructions, communicate delays or issues.
• Load and unload freight as needed.
• Perform chaining of tires and other operational duties.
