Herc Rentals is seeking a Tractor Trailer Driver to transport, deliver, and retrieve construction equipment while supporting branch operations in a safe, professional, and timely manner. The role requires a CDL Class A, tanker endorsement, and a current medical card, with Hazmat endorsement within 120 days.

The position emphasizes safe vehicle operation, accurate documentation, and communication with dispatch, aiming to maintain high service standards across branches and on-site locations.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years tractor trailer driving experience within the last 3 years.
• CDL Class A with tanker endorsement required.
• Current medical card must be maintained.
• Hazmat endorsement must be obtained within 120 days of employment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transport, deliver and retrieve assorted construction and heavy equipment.
• Operate commercial or non-commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Provide professional customer service and maintain professionalism.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain delivery documents for inspection by management or authorities.
• Communicate delivery schedules with Branch Manager/Dispatch.
• Report damages or accidents to Branch Manager or Central Dispatch.
• Keep paperwork and logs accurate daily.
