Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a CDL-A truck driver to operate a late-model tractor on long-haul routes, sharing driving duties with a partner and coordinating with dispatch. You will maintain compliant on-duty time and ensure secure, damage-free transport of high-value freight.

The role requires experience with flatbed/step-deck loads, load protection, and meticulous logging, with adherence to FMCSA regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A required.
• Strong safe-driving practices and knowledge of DOT/FMCSA compliance.
• Experience securing flatbed/step-deck loads and understanding load protection.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with dispatch and a driving partner.
• Attention to detail for accurate logs and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport high-value, specialized, and/or over-dimensional freight.
• Secure and protect loads to prevent damage during transit.
• Follow all FMCSA regulations and company safety standards.
• Maintain accurate logs and complete required documentation.
• Perform vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
