Job summary

The Dairy Farmers of America is hiring drivers to safely and efficiently operate tank trailers, transporting raw milk from farms to processing plants. The role is based in Wilbraham, MA with trips to St.

Albans, VT and offers home daily routes, weekend premium, OT, bonuses, and a strong benefits package. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Class A CDL, and ideally 1+ year CDL experience or FMCSA-approved driving school training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year CDL experience or FMCSA-approved driving school graduate.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL in state of residence.
• Tanker endorsement preferred (or able to obtain).
• Clear English communication and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT, DFA CMV, and safety policies.
• Perform tasks including lifting, connecting hoses, climbing a ladder, and hooking/unhooking trailers.
• Verify load documentation (Load number/Seal numbers/etc.) to validate load delivery and destination.
• Disassemble, clean, and re-assemble trailer pumps to maintain proper cleanliness at a food grade level.
• Always represents DFA positively and professionally during interactions with customers, or regulatory personnel.
• The position will be based out of Wilbraham, Massachusetts and will travel to St. Albans, VT.
