Job summary

Tortorella Group is hiring a CDL Class A driver to deliver bulk liquid chlorine and water from our Autochem Division in the New York area. You will operate a large tanker, verify delivery counts, and inspect client systems for leaks while following safety and HazMat regulations.

Requirements include Tanker, Air Brakes, and Hazmat endorsements, ability to drive a manual transmission, and a High School diploma or GED. Expect weekly pay, full health/dental/vision, 401k matching, and paid training.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license with Tanker, Air Brakes and Hazmat endorsements.
• Must drive manual transmission.
• High School Graduate or GED.
• One to two years related experience.
• Physical demands: lift and carry up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bulk liquid chlorine and water safely and on schedule.
• Operate metering equipment and verify gallon counts.
• Inspect client systems for leaks at delivery.
• Adhere to OSHA and Hazmat handling, transport and documentation procedures.
• Maintain safety of yourself, helper, vehicle and client property.
