Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Class A CDL driver for a Home Daily position in Colorado. The role involves transporting raw milk from farms to processing plants or terminals, operating DFA tractors and trailers, and complying with all safety and DOT regulations.

Shifts run 2pm–6pm with a 5 on / 2 off / 5 on / 3 off pattern. Competitive pay plus a comprehensive benefits package and a $2500 referral bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a current CDL Class A in state of residence.
• Tanker endorsement and ability to drive a manual transmission required before interviewing.
• Minimum 1 year of tractor/trailer experience; 2 years in last 5 years preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must meet all DOT requirements.
• Must be able to work a rotating schedule that includes weekends and Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Transport raw milk from farm to processing plants or trucking terminals using DFA tractors and trailers.
• Return home daily as part of the Home Daily role.
• Shift: 5 on / 2 off / 5 on / 3 off with start between 2pm and 6pm.
• Provide safe, reliable hauling with adherence to all DOT and company policies.

Our drivers transport raw milk from farm to processing plants or trucking terminals utilizing DFA tractors and trailers. Additional Pay Details

• Competitive pay based on experience.
• $1.00 shift differential for hours worked between 4 PM and 4 AM
• $0.50 weekend differential for hours worked on Saturday and Sunday
• Overtime pay
• $2500 Referral Bonus

Shift: 5 on / 2 off / 5 on / 3 off; Shift Start time between 2pm - 6pm

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have a current CDL (Class A) in state of residence. Must have, or be able to obtain, a tanker endorsement and drive a manual transmission before interviewing.
• Must have at least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience to be considered. 2 years of tractor/trailer experience within the last 5 years is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must meet all DOT requirements.
• Must be able to work a rotating schedule that includes weekends and Holidays.
