EmergencyMD is hiring CDL-A truck drivers based in Atlanta, Georgia. Drivers will haul general freight in dry van trailers, operating within regional lanes with weekly home time.

Job description

Pay & Home Time

Drivers for this CDL‑A truck driver position run regional freight and receive home time every week. Pay is $1,375 to $1,575 per week, plus a $1,000 sign‑on bonus and a $1,000 orientation pay.

Duties

Haul general freight in dry van trailers on regional freight lanes, with the majority of freight being drop‑and‑hook loads.

Vehicle & Equipment

Trucks include Freightliner Coronado/122SD, Freightliner Cascadia/Evolution, Volvo VN780, Volvo VNL860, and Peterbilt 579. All trucks are equipped with an APU and inverter and feature automatic transmissions.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid CDL‑A license.
• Current DOT medical card.
• At least six months of operating a tractor with a 40‑foot or longer trailer within the last 24 months, or one year of experience within the last 36 months.
