Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Roanoake, VA for a driving role with weekly pay and robust benefits. The position includes a $1,860 per week base pay, various per-mile and per-stop incentives, and quarterly safety bonuses.

Schedule is Sunday–Friday with nights out 4–5 times per week and paid training. Tractor types include Sleeper with 53' dry van, curtainside, or flatbed trailers; experience in flatbed is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL and endorsements for the position.
• 9 months of experience in the past 3 years OR 2 years in last 5 OR 5 years in last 10 years (tractor trailer or comparable).
• Ability to pass Ryder drug test and background checks.
• DOT physical and road test clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal/state laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records and logs; assist with loading/unloading as required.
• Perform duties as assigned; ensure safety of self and others.
