Job summary

Sysco is seeking dependable CDL A Shuttle Delivery Truck Drivers to safely operate a tractor-trailer and transport doubles between a Sysco facility and shuttle yards in Idaho Falls. You may unload or deliver products to customer locations on an assigned route.

Responsibilities include handling freight, maintaining safety on the road, and complying with all company policies. Home daily with excellent pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Pass employment testing.
• Able to read and speak English sufficiently to communicate and understand highway signs and official inquiries.
• Valid Class A CDL with driving-record insurability; incumbents with a Doubles/Triples endorsement preferred.

JOB SUMMARY

Sysco has immediate job openings for dependable CDL A Shuttle Delivery Truck Drivers to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and transport doubles (potentially triples) between Sysco facility and shuttle yards. You may be required, on an as-needed basis, to unload/deliver various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

• 21+ years of age.
• Pass employment testing
• Commercial Vehicle Drivers must have the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver license with a driving record that meets company insurability standards.
• Doubles/Triples Endorsement preferred

Physical Demands

• Touch freight - may need to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds occasionally.
