Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company in Ruston, LA is seeking a Shuttle Driver to deliver loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and return empty trailers to the branch.

You will maintain delivery time windows and communicate problems with supervision, while representing the company with professionalism. Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of DOT driving experience, a valid Class A CDL with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must have a good driving record with no more than 1 moving violation in the past three years.
• Applicant must pass required Drug and Physical Screening.
• At least 1 year of DOT driving experience required.
• Must have a valid state issued Class A CDL driver’s license with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements.
• Ability to operate/drive a single axle with 28 ft., 36 ft., and 48 ft., trailers with tandem axle tractors.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED – Work experience may be substituted for education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver loaded trailers to shuttle depot and return empty trailers to the branch.
• Maintain delivery time windows.
• Immediately communicate problems with supervisor.
• Represent Ben E. Keith with professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude, following dress code and cleanliness standards.
