Job summary

US Foods is seeking a CDL A Shuttle Driver to transport products between dispatch sites in Augusta, GA. You will drive tractor trailers, perform safety inspections, verify freight and monitor trailer temperatures, and adapt to backhaul or delivery tasks as needed.

Requirements include a valid CDL A, at least 21 years old, and English fluency. Benefits begin Day One, with a $5,000 retention bonus for eligible hires and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A license with proper endorsements.
• Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience.
• Doubles endorsement preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer to dispatch sites and backhauls.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections for safety and compliance.
• Verify freight and monitor trailer temperatures during shipments.
• Adhere to safety standards and DOT regulations; adjust as needed by management.
• Utilize adaptability to handle various duties assigned by supervision.
