Universal Logistics is seeking CDL-A shuttle drivers for local routes based in Detroit, MI. This role offers daily home time, a union position (Teamsters Local 299), and steady freight with 8–9 hour days.

Wage starts at $21.00/hour for 0–1 year experience and increases to $22.50/hour, with over a year earning up to $24.25/hour. Shifts begin around 5 am and include training via T2T for recent grads.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Clean driving record with strong safety history.
• Ability to meet DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport materials between terminal and customer locations
• Follow delivery schedules based on customer production needs
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain DOT compliance at all times
• Communicate with dispatch and operations teams
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment
