Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company, a leading food and beverage distributor, is hiring a Driver Shuttle Single DOT in Dodge City, KS. The role involves daily pickup and delivery routes to domicile drivers and returning empty trailers to the warehouse.

You must have a Class A CDL, at least 1 year of DOT driving experience, and a solid understanding of FMCSA rules. Candidate should be comfortable working outdoors in extreme temperatures and learning our internal systems such as OBC and POD equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have Class A CDL and at least 1 year of DOT driving experience.
• Knowledge of FMCSA rules and regulations required.
• Ability to read and interpret rules/guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Good computer skills and ability to learn internal applications (i.e. OBC and POD equipment).
• Able to work outside in extreme temperatures (cold and hot).

Responsibilities

• Perform pickup and delivery of daily routes to domicile drivers and return empty trailers to the warehouse.
• Maintain safety and courtesy, demonstrate BEK principles during interactions with the public, and keep equipment clean.
• Adhere to all FMCSA laws and regulations; ensure trailers and tractors are fueled and ready for operation.
• Occasionally complete deliveries to customers between the warehouse or shuttle site as needed.
