Local CDL-A Shuttle Drivers Needed – Home Daily!

Universal Dedicated of Detroit is seeking reliable CDL‑A drivers for local shuttle routes based in Detroit, MI. This is a great opportunity to join a union position with steady freight, consistent schedules, and daily home time.

Pay: $22.50/hour experienced drivers $21.00/hour for 0-1 year experience After 1 year jumps to $24.25/hour.

Position Details

• Local shuttle operations (home daily)
• 2nd shift openings 2pm - 11:30 pm
• Overtime typically 1-5 hours per week
• Union position with benefits
• Touch freight (chaining/strapping loads only — no loading/unloading)
• Union position (Teamsters Local 299)
• Seniority-based route bidding every 6 months

Responsibilities
