Northern Haserot, a long-standing family-owned foodservice distributor, seeks an experienced CDL A driver with no restrictions. The role involves nighttime routes Sunday through Thursday, and handling meat and seafood loads to maintain temperature requirements.

You'll primarily drive a 53-foot trailer on Cleveland to Erie, PA, Columbus or Detroit trips, with physical duties and the potential for annual pay progression.

Qualifications

• CDL A license with no restrictions.
• High school diploma or GED not required.
• Ability to operate a 53-foot trailer on routes Cleveland to Erie, PA, Columbus or Detroit.

Our offerings encompass portion-controlled meats, custom-cut seafood, fresh local produce, dairy products, premium groceries, frozen foods, coffee, as well as equipment and supplies.

Job Overview: CDL A Driver, no restrictions.

Schedule: Working Sunday through Thursday, Midnight - Route Completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with sorting meat and seafood to finalize loads and maintain temperature standards
• Primarily operate a 53-foot trailer roundtrip from Cleveland to Erie, PA, Columbus or Detroit

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform frequent pushing and pulling up to 250 pounds using a 2-wheel dolly
• Ability to lift up to 90 pounds unassisted
• Must be able to enter and exit vehicle’s cab multiple times daily
• Must be able to climb into the truck from ground level as needed for cargo
• Must be able to drive manual
• Must be able to go up and down the ramp at the back of the truck with the 2-wheel dolly regularly
• Ability to navigate stairs, slim doorways and hallways with product safely and efficiently

Education:

Highschool diploma or GED is NOT a requirement.
