Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in Georgia offers a CDL-A training program with real mentorship and guaranteed early pay. Trainees ride with an experienced trainer for 4–6 weeks, then progress to solo driving on real routes with take-home options after training.

Expect 1) a guaranteed weekly minimum during training, 2) a path to solid solo earnings, and 3) comprehensive onboarding including trip planning and log compliance.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license and at least 21 years old.
• 120+ hours completed at an accredited CDL program.
• Stable work history with a clean driving record.
• Active DOT medical card and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Ride with a trainer for 4–6 weeks and run real loads on real routes.
• Learn trip planning, backing, and maneuvering with live load/unload stops.
• Use log book and ELD, and communicate with dispatch during training and solo runs.
• Transition to solo driving and move to full solo pay after training.
