Job summary

Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay is seeking a dedicated Driver to safely operate a vehicle for pickup, transport, and delivery of donated goods. You will provide excellent donor service, follow safety policies, and perform daily vehicle checks while supporting Goodwill’s mission in South San Francisco.

The role requires a California Class A license, DOT medical card, and a clean DMV/MVR, with weekend and early morning availability.

Qualifications

California Class A Driver License with clean record.
Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience.
California DMV record no more than 30 days old.
Current DOT medical card and valid MVR with no citations in past 3 years.
Read maps and communicate using GW issued radio/phone.
Pass pre-employment DOT drug test.
Excellent customer service and ability to interact with diverse donors.
Available to work weekends and early mornings.
Lift minimum 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

Safely operates a vehicle to collect, transport and/or deliver donations.
Acts courteously, handles donor concerns, and escalates when necessary.
Follows all policies and wears required safety equipment.
Performs daily vehicle maintenance checks.
Processes and submits paperwork and reviews reporting.
May be required to work overtime to complete tasks.
Unloads vehicles and moves items as required.
Maintains regular in-person attendance.
