The role requires unloading, sorting, palletizing, and reloading freight, with paperwork completed per DOT rules and company policies. The position emphasizes customer service, safety, and adherence to routes with local daily work and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 21 years of age.
• 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 3 years
• No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Delivers and/or picks up freight to/from customer locations and/or a terminal as instructed by dispatch or the supervisor.
• Ensures all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and accompanies shipments to delivery points.
• Loads and/or unloads freight onto/off the vehicle, with or without mechanical assistance depending on freight size.
• Completes all paperwork required by government regulations and Company procedures.

The CDL A position is a Route Delivery Driver position in which you will operate a Company motor vehicle to transfer freight safely and efficiently to and from specified locations by a specified time. This position unloads, sorts, palletizes, and reloads a wide variety of freight, manually or with the aid of a mechanical device.
