Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Jonestown, PA is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver for regional journeys in the Mid Atlantic. Expect weekly pay, a starting pay around $29.58 per hour, and 50 hours per week with overtime potential.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL and endorsements.
• Minimum 21 years old.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check (last 3 years).
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• 9 months tractor-trailer experience in past 3 years OR 2 years in last 5 OR 5 years in last 10.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight as required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
