Job summary

Overhaul Carriers is seeking CDL A drivers for home weekly truck routes. You will unload freight using roller conveyors, complete required inspections, and maintain accurate logs while delivering freight on time within the SC, NC, AL, KY, GA, VA, OH, TN, WV area.

Home weekly means 5 out and 2 days at home with family. Applicants must have a valid CDL Class A license, a clean MVR, and be able to pass a DOT drug screen.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).
• Moving Violation: No more 3 in the last 3 years.
• No Reckless Driving Violations in past 5 years.
• Terminations: Drivers termed from their last 2 Driving jobs (Class A or B) will not qualify.
• Felonies and Misdemeanors: Class A Felony, must be 10 years old from date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed; Class B or C must be outside 7 years from conviction date.
• DUI/DWI: No DUIs in a Commercial vehicle ever; no more than 2 DUIs lifetime.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.
