NIS EXPRESS is seeking regional dry van drivers to cover IL, OH, IN, MI and KY within a 400-mile radius of home. The runs offer consistent miles and flexible home time with weekend resets.

Average weekly miles exceed 2,200, with preloaded trailers and drop & hook—no shipper wait times. Trucks include Freightliner Cascadia and Kenworth T680, modern equipment, paid training for recent CDL graduates.

Qualifications

• 21 years old and valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 6 months of tractor trailer experience or recent CDL A graduate.
• Clean MVR & PSP.
• No DUI, DWI, or SAP drivers.
• No felonies or misdemeanors in last 10 years.

Job description

Regional dry van runs across IL, OH, IN, MI, KY — within a 400-mile radius of home.

THE FREIGHT

Preloaded trailers and drop & hook — no waiting at shippers or receivers. Average 2,200+ miles per week.

THE HOME TIME

Flexible home time, 34-hour resets at home — usually on weekends.

THE PAY

• $0.56–$0.64 per mile based on experience
• Average weekly pay $1,400-$1,500
• Company pays detention, layover, and breakdown pay
• Extra pay for short haul and extra stops

THE EQUIPMEN T

Freightliner Cascadia and Kenworth T680 — both automatic and manual, no older than 2 years. Equipped with fridges, power inverters, and APU units.

TRAINING PROGRAM

• Recent CDL graduates welcome
• Under 6 months experience: 4–6 week training with an instructor
• Paid $900/week during training
