Job summary

McKee Foods is seeking a CDL A Team Truck Driver for out-and-back routes based in Collegedale, TN. You will operate sleeper Freightliners/Volvos in a dedicated Eastern states region, with 2–4 days of home time and sundown Friday to sundown Saturday off.

You must be at least 23, have a CDL A, and one year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience. Weekly pay starts around $1,593 with bonuses and per diem options; comprehensive benefits include medical, 401(k) with match, paid holidays and time

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Must have CDL A license.
• Minimum 12 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record.
• Required to drive as a team (established teams welcome).
• Ability to unload a trailer, lift up to 50 lbs, and pass a drug screen.
• Ability to obtain tanker endorsement within 30 days of employment.
• No DUI/DWI in the last 6 years.
• Must meet DOT testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Unload cases of snack cake products safely.
• Cover a dedicated region consisting of the Eastern states.
• Run an average of 2.25 overnight trips per week.

Compensation

• Average Annual Pay: $85,000 per driver
  • Stable pay starting at $1,593 per driver/week after initial training (includes delivery premium)
  • Eligible for increase to $1,655 per driver/week after 6 months (based on performance)
• $5,000 transition bonus
• Partial pay for road expenses (per diem)

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• 2 to 4 days of home time each week
• Always off sundown Friday to sundown Saturday
• Cover a dedicated region consisting of the Eastern states
• Run an average of 2.25 overnight trips per week
• Unload cases of snack cakes safely and efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years of age
• Must have CDL A license
• Must have a minimum of 12‑month verifiable tractor‑trailer driving experience with a clean driving record
• Required to drive team (established teams welcome — may not be paired together)
• Ability to unload a trailer containing cases of snack cake products, regularly lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to obtain tanker endorsement within 30 days of employment
• No DUI/DWIs in the last 6 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre‑employment drug screen
• Drivers must live within 100 miles of Collegedale, TN or be willing to relocate for this position
