Job summary

Trimac is seeking qualified truck drivers for chemical and latex transport out of Geismar, LA. Expect 2,500–3,200 miles weekly with dedicated and out-and-back lanes and predominantly pre-loaded trailers.

Drivers must hold a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, TWIC, and a newer tractor (2010+). A Trimac safety assessment is required for employment consideration.

Pay Details

• $1.80 (loaded) and $1.25 (empty)
• Average weekly $5,000- $7,000 (gross)
• Average annual $227,500- $273,000 (gross)
• Fuel Surcharge & Accessorial pay

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• 1-year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
• Tanker experience preferred, but will train loading/offloading
• Pass Trimac safety assessment
• TWIC
• 2010 or newer tractor

Past 7 years without:

• Driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances
• A preventable rollover or fatality crash

Past 3 years without:

• License suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety
• A major preventable accident
• Two or more moving convictions
