Job summary

Safeload Trucking is hiring a CDL-A Regional Dry Bulk Driver to cover regional lanes across IL, IN, western OH, southern MI and MO with home weekly. Average weekly pay ranges from $1,200 to $1,500 and a $1,500 referral bonus. Trucks are 2020+ (Mack/International) with onsite parking.

This is pneumatic dry bulk work requiring loading and offloading, and requires physical capability and a clean driving record. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, home time weekly, with occasional Saturday returns.

Qualifications

• 6 months of tractor-trailer experience (verifiable) or 1 year within the past 3 years
• TWIC endorsement preferred
• Willing to assist with loading
• Willing to offload pneumatic dry bulk product
• No pets or passengers
• Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)

Job Type: Driver

Compensation

Average weekly pay: $1,200 - $1,500 per week

Average weekly miles: 2,000 - 2,300 miles per week

Referral bonus: $1,500 total ($750 at hire, $750 at 90 days)

Home Time and Schedule

Home weekly / weekends (driver may occasionally return on Saturday)

Typical schedule: Monday through Friday

Consistent regional schedule with predictable home time

Operating Area

Regional routes across: IL, IN, Western OH, Southern MI, and MO

Drivers may run north into Southern Michigan and south/east into Ohio before returning

Freight and Driver Responsibilities

Primary freight: Pneumatic dry bulk, primarily cement

Driver will assist with loading

Driver is responsible for offloading product

This is hands‑on dry bulk work requiring physical capability

Driver must be willing and able to offload pneumatic dry bulk product

Equipment

Equipment age: 2020 and newer

Truck makes: Mack and International

Parking: Onsite at customer or another secure location approved by management

Requirements

6 months of recent verifiable tractor‑trailer experience, OR

1 year of tractor‑trailer experience within the past 3 years

TWIC endorsement preferred

Must be willing to assist with loading

Must be willing and able to offload pneumatic dry bulk product

No pets or passengers permitted

Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
