Job summary

Salt City Trucking in West Jefferson, OH, is seeking a CDL-A Regional Driver to manage a dedicated regional retail freight account with overnight shifts. Home 2–3 days per week and 34-hour reset are typical, with autumn freight and flexible schedules based on demand.

Position involves preloaded tri-temp and dual-temp trailers, liftgate/pallet-jack deliveries, and deliveries to Chicago area. Tractors are automatic; weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL requirement.
• Minimum 3 months verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card required.
• No SAP drivers.
• Ability to operate refrigerated equipment and assist with liftgate/pallet-jack deliveries.
• Overnight schedules and regional routes are expected.

Responsibilities

• Dedicated regional retail freight account.
• Starting/ending location in West Jefferson, OH.
• Shuttle points in Whitestown and Demotte, IN.
• Deliveries to downtown Chicago and surrounding suburbs.
• Preloaded tri-temp and dual-temp trailers.
• Driver-observed unloading at most stores.
• Liftgate and pallet-jack use for inner-city deliveries.
• Automatic transmission with 28- and 53-foot trailers.
• Trucks may park in a safe, secured location.
