Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is seeking drivers for a dedicated account based in Baltimore. You will haul freight weekly and return home every week, on a 5-day schedule with a guaranteed minimum pay and mileage/stop pay.

Most runs are live loads/drop-and-hook, with trailers including dry van, reefer, and sleeper configurations. Expect a weekly minimum of $1,375 on a 5-day week, with average weekly pay from $1,550 to $2,100.

Qualifications

• 3+ months solo tractor-trailer experience.
• Valid Class A CDL for Maryland resident.
• No DUI/DWI in 5 years; no SAP drivers.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing.
• Live within 60 miles of Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities

• Operate dedicated freight out of Baltimore.
• Maintain safe driving and timely deliveries.
• Unloading not required; live loads and drop-and-hook only.
• Follow set pay per run, mileage pay, stops pay.

How You Run

• Dedicated freight out of Baltimore, about 1,900 miles a week
• Stores in PA, DE, NY, NJ, WV, VA, NC and DC, no NYC
• You never unload: live loads and drop and hook only

How You Get Paid

• Weekly minimum of $1,375 on a 5 day week
• Average weekly pay $1,550 - $2,100
• $0.565 per mile over 500 miles, set pay per run under 500
• $15 stop pay

Home and Truck

• Weekly 34 hour reset, often 2 to 3 days off
• Automatic sleeper, dry van and reefer trailers
• Truck parks at the Baltimore yard, bring your own ride to work
