Bowhead Family of Companies is seeking a full-time Heavy Truck Driver to operate buses and troop carriers at Fort Jackson, SC. A Class A CDL with Passenger Endorsement is required, with potential to transition between shifts and weekends as needed.

Perfect candidates will have CDL experience, be comfortable with passenger transport, and comply with security clearance requirements. The role offers an hourly pay around $25.35, with the opportunity to contribute to essential installation operations.

Competenze

High school diploma or GED is required.
Two years of CDL driving experience is preferred.
Candidate must hold CDL Class A with Passenger Endorsement; if M restriction is not removed, a valid CDL permit prior to start is required.
U.S. citizenship or eligibility for security clearance as required.

Mansioni

Operate heavy buses and troop carriers up to 80 passengers on scheduled and unscheduled routes.
Safely transport personnel while observing schedules, routes, and speed limits.
Complete logs, mileage, hours, fuel and passenger counts; file accident/incident reports as needed.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance; keep vehicle clean and serviceable.
Coordinate with supervision; report misconduct or safety concerns promptly.
