Job summary

JR Transportation, Inc. is seeking experienced CDL-A Owner-Operators with car-hauling equipment to run auto transport throughout the Western United States. We are looking to hire in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Nevada, and Arizona.

This is a full-time/Owner Operator role with regional and OTR opportunities. Earn 85% of gross with weekly pay; typical gross weekly range is roughly $3,900 to $10,500 before expenses, contingent on weight and routes.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
• Equipment must be 5 years old or newer and qualified car-hauling equipment.
• Ability to load, secure, transport and unload automobiles safely.
• Must operate under JR Transportation lettering and meet licensing and insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport and unload automobiles.
• Operate salt routes regionally across the Western United States with OTR opportunities.
• Maintain safety and DOT compliance on all transports.
• Adhere to company policies and schedule and ensure customer vehicle protection.

Pay

• Earn 85% of gross
• Drivers earn $3,300 - $8,900 per week minus expenses
• Percentage-based compensation
• Paid twice monthly - 10th and 25th

Routes and Operating Area:

• Regional and OTR opportunities are available throughout the Western United States.
• Hiring areas include Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Nevada, and Arizona.

Owner-Operator Requirements:

• Minimum 23 years of age
• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience
• Clean MVR
• Qualified car-hauling equipment
• Equipment must be 5 years old or newer
• Must operate using JR Transportation lettering
• Must meet company licensing and insurance requirements
• Ability to safely load, secure, transport, and unload automobiles
• Ability to meet all applicable DOT and company safety requirements

Home Time:

This position includes OTR operations with extended periods on the road. Home time will depend on routes, freight availability, and operating schedule.
