Job summary

S.P. Richards Company is seeking a Driver to perform safe and timely delivery and retrieval of office products on overnight routes in and around Concord, NC. This role requires attention to DOT safety standards and accurate POD documentation.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, route navigation, maintaining logs, and courteous customer service during loading/unloading with equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid commercial driver's license class A as required by DOT.
• Two years driving experience or more preferred.
• Must meet SPR's Driving Standards as provided at time of interview and maintain those standards throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety inspections of the assigned vehicle before and after trips.
• Check paperwork against products ordered and shipped.
• Maintain electronic delivery logs using onboard tablet/ELD for DOT logging and Proof of Delivery.
