Job summary

Universal Logistics is seeking an OTR CDL Class A Driver for a five-day run, departing Friday nights and returning home after two days. Trucks include a 2019 Peterbilt Sleeper; pay ranges from $1,700 to $1,800 per week at about $0.75 per mile.

Benefits begin after 90 days and include BCBS medical/dental/vision, 401(k), holidays and vacation. Routes include Portland, OR and Renton, WA with local trucking duties and a one-year driving history preferred.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required; Hazmat endorsement not needed to apply.
• Minimum 6 months verifiable tractor trailer experience.
• No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years; no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years; no more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate company equipment on assigned local routes.
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to schedule: 5-day run, typically home two days.
