Job summary

Ryder in Lewistown, PA is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver to deliver across regions with weekly pay, safety-focused culture, and comprehensive benefits. Expect paid training, uniforms, boot allowance, 401(k) with company match, and generous time off starting Day 1.

Home at least every other weekend; opportunities to grow within our logistics network. Requirements include minimum 21, a valid CDL A, passing drug test, DOT physical, and road test; experience in tractor-trailer or similar vehicle

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Driver operates safely and makes decisions in alignment with company policies.
