This job requires a driver that is willing and able to lift boxes weighing as much as 80+ pounds and splits time between making deliveries (loading and unloading) and working in the warehouse.

Compensation

• $27-$30 per hour with 40 hours guaranteed
• Overtime eligible position (overtime is not guaranteed)
• Paid via direct deposit bi-weekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home every night
• Monday through Friday schedule. Generally no weekend work
• Shifts typically start between 7:00 AM (sometimes earlier) and ends at approximately 5:00 PM
• Level of Touch: Load and unload

Equipment

• Late model trucks with backup cameras
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission

Responsibilities

• Lives the mission statement
• Acts as a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service
• Splits time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse
• Uses a moffett forklift to make deliveries
• Interacts with customers and or crews at job sites
• Provides exceptional service to each Lansing customer and constantly strives to improve that level of service
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly
• May be asked to perform additional functions such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• CDL-B (or A) license required
• Minimum of one year driving experience with a clean driving record
• Must have moffett forklift experience (training provided)
• Hoisting license required; driver will be aided to obtain if needed
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck (training provided)
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus and be a contributing member of a team
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 80+ pounds
• Experience with building products is helpful
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and positive attitude
• No DUI/DWI within the last 5 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen
• Must live within 30 miles of Braintree, MA or be willing to relocate
