Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Group is seeking a CDL-A tractor trailer driver in Tampa, FL. The role involves operating our tractor trailers from the distribution center to customer locations, loading/unloading pallets, and maintaining safety and compliance with DOT regulations.

8pm start, Monday to Thursday, with a pay rate of $27.90 per hour for a full-time schedule. Qualified candidates will have a CDL-A, at least one year of delivery experience or training, and a proven safe driving history.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required.
• At least one year of delivery experience or related training.
• General knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving history.
• Strong verbal and written communication with diplomacy and discretion.
• Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle before and after use; log inspections.
• Load and unload pallets and products; direct material handlers as needed.
• Deliver product to destination; identify destination and follow route.
• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer instructions.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions; call for repairs; maintain inventories.
• Maintain safe vehicle conditions and comply with policies and laws.
• Maintain records by completing driver logs and obtaining necessary authorizations.
• Ensure a safe work environment and contribute to team objectives.
• Additional duties assigned by supervisor.
