Job summary

American Driver LLC is seeking night-crew drivers to run refrigerated grocery freight across Southwest Florida. Two runs per night with a five-night block (Thu–Mon or Fri–Tue) from the Arcadia distribution center, delivering to Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, Cape Coral, Englewood, North Port and Arcadia.

You live within 25 miles of Punta Gorda and return home daily. Trailers stay at the yard; you drive your own car in and use the tractor for the night.

Qualifications

• Completed CDL-A training at a truck driving school (minimum 120 hours).
• Class A CDL from your state of residence.
• Live within 25 miles of Punta Gorda.
• 21 or older.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years, no DUI/DWI in 10 years.
• DOT physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Deliver refrigerated grocery loads to Southwest Florida stores.
• Stay at Arcadia distribution center; use the assigned tractor for the night.
• Unload at the store; stay with the trailer during unloading.
