Job summary

Core-Mark International seeks a Full-time company driver in Grand Rapids, MI to deliver food and related goods. You will drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, ensure on-time delivery, and complete required documentation.

Routes are home daily with a 3pm–5pm dispatch, and a 4-day work schedule. Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $75,000 per year, with benefits and a $7,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 1+ year of driving tractor trailer experience.
• Valid CDL-A.
• Meet all state licensing/certification requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure.
• Able to hand-lift/move freight of varying size/weight.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety checks per DOT; inspects tractor/truck and trailer.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Reports safety hazards and checks freight loading.
• Verifies invoices and paperwork for freight.
• Delivers orders on schedule; unloads products.
• Collects money where required and secures loads.
• Completes daily hours-of-service logs.
• Keeps equipment and dock area clean and organized.
