Job summary

Sysco seeks delivery drivers to transport and deliver product to customers, unloading by hand or hand cart, and ensuring accuracy of invoices. The role includes safety checks, proper temperatures, and maintaining sanitary conditions in vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; one year tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License required.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and complete records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer routes to customers and unload product according to invoices and company standards.
• Deliver and unload product safely, maintain product temperatures and prevent cross-contamination.
• Complete logs, inspections, and reports; ensure accuracy of invoices; report damages or shortages promptly.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with customers through clear communication and courteous service.
