Job summary

Carvana in Elyria, OH is seeking a CDL A Local Driver to move vehicles between our production facilities and delivery hubs. You’ll be home daily with a pay-per-mile structure and bonus opportunities, including night differentials and quarterly incentives.

Relocation assistance of up to $5,000 is available for qualified candidates willing to relocate to Elyria. The role offers PTO, a modern fleet, and options for company-paid medical insurance and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL driver's license with Med Card.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• 6 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or equivalent military experience.
• Willingness to relocate to Elyria, OH.

Responsibilities

• Maintain courteous and professional behavior & appearance.
• Loading and securing vehicles on our 9 car haulers; follow safety procedures and maintain driver log.
• Transporting vehicles between Carvana locations.
• Must adhere to the delivery schedule.
• Maintain a clean driving record and Class A CDL.
• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of our customer cars.
• Communicate with transportation team.

• Must be able to walk 75' and climb a 10' ladder
• Must be able to bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand and climb as required to secure load
• Requires standing, stretching, walking, stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an outdoor environment
• Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity
• Requires use of safety equipment that may include non-slip shoes, gloves, and other protective garments and equipment
• Requires frequent driving
