Job summary

Carvana is hiring a CDL A Local Driver in Tooele. You’ll be home daily, moving cars between production facilities and delivery hubs for timely customer car deliveries. The role offers pay per mile, with opportunities for bonuses including night differential and quarterly incentives.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL driver’s license with Med Card.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• 6 months of tractor trailer in last 3 years or equivalent Military experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain courteous and professional behavior & appearance.
• Loading and securing vehicles on our 9 car haulers.
• Following all safety procedures and maintaining driver log.
• Transporting vehicles between Carvana locations.
• Must adhere to the delivery schedule.
• Maintain a clean driving record and Class A CDL.
• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of our customer cars.
• Communicate with transportation team.

First things first. As a Vehicle Transporter, you’ll be home daily. When you’re working, you’ll be moving cars between our production facilities and delivery hubs for the safe and timely delivery of our customer cars. Requirements

• Must be able to walk 75’ and climb a 10’ ladder
• Must be able to bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand and climb as required to secure load
• Requires standing, stretching, walking, stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an outdoor environment
• Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity
• Requires use of safety equipment that may include non-slip shoes, gloves, and other protective garments and equipment
• Requires frequent driving
