Job summary

DLI is hiring a CDL A Local Shuttle Truck Driver for Hudson, WI. Earn $28 per hour with overtime and be home daily on a Monday–Friday schedule. No touch freight, full benefits, and a stable, established carrier support your career.

You will shuttle trailers between the Hudson cross-dock and a customer yard, with cross-training as a Yard Jockey to assist with yard movements as needed. Start time is 3:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license
• Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred
• Ability to safely maneuver and position trailers in a busy yard environment

Responsibilities

• Move trailers between the Hudson cross-dock and a nearby customer yard
• Cross-train as a Yard Jockey to assist with trailer movements within the customer yard
• Operate an automatic transmission day cab with 48' trailers
• No touch freight – no loading or unloading required
• Perform frequent backing, trailer positioning and yard maneuvers; conduct required inspections and follow safety standards

DLI is hiring an experienced CDL A Local Shuttle Truck Driver / Yard Jockey in Hudson, WI. Earn $28 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours while enjoying daily home time, a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, no-touch freight, full benefits, and the stability of an established transportation company.

This local Class A shuttle driving opportunity involves moving trailers between our Hudson cross-dock and a nearby customer yard. Drivers will also cross-train as Yard Jockeys to assist with trailer movements within the customer yard as needed.

Local Shuttle Driver Schedule & Position Details

• Home Daily – Local shuttle and yard operations in Hudson, WI


• Schedule: Monday–Friday


• Start Time: 3:00 PM


• Shuttle trailers between the Hudson cross-dock and customer yard, approximately 2 miles apart


• Cross-train as a Yard Jockey to move and position trailers within the customer yard as needed


• Operate an automatic transmission day cab with 48' trailers


• No Touch Freight – No loading or unloading required


• Perform frequent backing, trailer positioning, and yard maneuvers


• Complete required equipment inspections and follow company safety standards

CDL A Local Shuttle Driver Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A)


• Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred


• Ability to safely maneuver and position trailers in a busy yard environment


• Willingness to cross-train and assist with Yard Jockey duties
