Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Jackson, MI is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to join our local route team, delivering food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities.

Day shifts with a 4–6 AM start, home daily, and weekly pay. You will unload up to 100 lbs, use a ramp and two-wheeler, and build strong customer relationships on every stop. Newly licensed drivers are encouraged to apply; this role offers stability with a guaranteed route and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Class A CDL license required at hire.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and unload up to 350 lbs with a two-wheel cart.
• Read, write and communicate in English.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Maintain a clean driving record per DOT standards.
• Registered with the DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide consent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and other customers.
• Build relationships with customers while completing deliveries.
• Home daily on local routes with early start times (4–6 AM).
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs; use ramp and two-wheeler during shift.
