Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Class A Route Delivery Driver in Houston, TX. You will operate company trucks to transfer freight safely and deliver to customer locations, handling paperwork and palletizing as needed.

The role requires a valid CDL-A, at least 21 years old, and 1 year of commercial driving experience. Hazmat/Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain are required or reimbursed. Salary is $32/hour with Monday–Friday 8am–5pm or 9am–6pm shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Minimum 21 years old.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain (renewals reimbursed).
• No DUI/DWI in the past 3 years.
• No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Deliver and/or pick up freight to/from customer locations or a terminal as instructed by dispatch or supervisor.
• Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and accompany shipments as required.
• Load and unload freight with or without mechanical assistance as size and environment permit.
