Job summary

Trimac Transportation System is seeking qualified drivers to haul chemical loads across regional routes in the Southeast. You will pick up from multiple SC locations and deliver to SC, NC, GA, AL, KY, VA, TN, OH, WI, IN, MS & TX, with home bases near Spartanburg.

Expect 2,000–3,000 miles per week, 5k–6.8k average weekly gross pay, and a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Safety is a priority in our operations, with support from experienced management and dispatch teams.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• 6 months tanker experience required.
• Hazmat endorsement required.
• TWIC card required.
• 2010 or newer tractor/model-year.

Responsibilities

• Haul various chemicals according to routes.
• Pickup points across SC.
• Regional destinations across SC, NC, GA, AL, KY, VA, TN, OH, WI, IN, MS & TX.
• Local destinations across NC, SC, GA, TN, VA.
• Typically 2,000–3,000 miles per week.

Pay Details

• Paid by mileage: $1.89 CPM (Loaded) $1.37 CPM (Empty) plus fuel surcharge

Qualifications

• 1-year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• 6 months of valid tanker experience required
• Pass Trimac safety assessment
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsement required
• 2010 or newer tractor
• TWIC

Past 7 years without:

• Driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances
• A preventable rollover or fatality crash

Past 3 years without:

• License suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety
• A major preventable accident
• Two or more moving convictions
