Job summary

Sheetz is hiring a Food/Convenience Delivery Driver to load, unload and deliver products to our store locations and customers in Findlay, OH and nearby Michigan routes. You’ll operate modern trucks, follow DOT rules, and stay safety-focused while delivering professional service.

We offer $34.10–$36.50 hourly, overtime, quarterly profit-sharing, and a $1,500 driver referral bonus. Benefits include health, life, 401(k), holidays, PTO, and more after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must be minimum of 21 years old and eligible to engage in interstate travel.
• Must have CDL A license.
• 2 years of verifiable tractor trailer experience with 130,000 miles.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a valid DOT medical card or obtain prior to hire.
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen.
• Tools & Equipment (Other than general office equipment): Hand tools; Motorized Equipment (generators, pressure washer, fork lift).

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck and trailer for defects and safe operating condition before, during, and after trips and submit written report on the condition of the truck-trailer at the end of each trip or tour of duty.
• Drive truck to destination in accordance with the federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations between the customer, store personnel and the company.
• Load and unload product in a manner that assure safety and minimal risk of damage to product.
• Verify that product is being held and delivered at appropriate temperatures to maintain product integrity, appearance and safety.
• Ensure that all shipment documentation required to move with shipments is available for inspection and that the appropriate paperwork accompanies shipment when delivered.

Compensation

• This position offers a base hourly range of $34.10 - $36.50 per hour, depending on years of tractor-trailer experience and verifiable mileage, plus bonus based on company performance - with an average of 40 hours weekly
• Time and a half overtime pay after 40 hours
• Quarterly profit-sharing bonus
• Driver Referral Bonus: $1,500
• Paid via direct deposit bi-weekly

• 3 day work week, either Mon, Wed, Fri OR Sun, Tues, Thurs, 12-14 hours shifts

• Route: 150 miles around - Findlay, OH covering parts of Michigan as well

• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations including driver’s log, mileage records, and other records required by law.
• Report all highway safety hazards noted in route, accidents involving driver or company equipment, and delays due to break-downs, weather or traffic conditions.
