Job summary

Transporting Logistics is hiring a Local Intermodal CDL-A Driver based in McCook, Illinois. The role involves a local intermodal route with multiple dispatches, live load, and drop & hook freight. Average dispatches are within a 65-mile radius of the rail ramp, with daily yard returns.

Schedule offers home daily with two consecutive days off, typically 10–12 hours per day, five days a week, with an optional sixth day for extra pay. Band pay based on miles and experience.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience required as a CDL-A driver.
• Intermodal driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Local Intermodal route with top pay.
• Dispatches with live load and drop & hook freight.
• Average dispatch within a 65-mile radius from the rail ramp.
• All tractors leave and return to the yard daily.
• Home daily with 2 consecutive days off; 10–12 hours/day, 5 days a week; optional 6th day for extra pay.
