Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver for the Philadelphia, PA area. You will haul containers with a chassis in a dedicated local operation, with daily home time and options for day or night shifts. Expect mileage-based pay plus revenue load and stop pay.

Starting in Philadelphia, this role features no-touch freight, drop-and-hook or live loading/unloading where applicable, and required chassis maintenance is not handled by the carrier. Holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Intermodal experience preferred; first-seat drivers and trainees may apply.
• Clean driving record and valid DOT Medical Card.
• Must be able to safely operate intermodal equipment and container/chassis operations.

Responsibilities

• Haul containers using chassis in a dedicated local intermodal operation.
• Perform no-touch freight and manage drop-and-hook procedures.
• Operate on scheduled shifts with day or night options; home daily.
• Follow all safety and DOT regulations; maintain equipment as required.
