CDL-A Driver – Local – Home Daily – $28/hr

Location: Lithia Springs, Georgia

About the Position

TransForce is seeking experienced CDL-A Drivers for local operations in Lithia Springs, Georgia. This position offers steady work, a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, home-daily routes, and the opportunity to join a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $28 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Start Time: Approximately 1:00 a.m.–5:00 a.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Temp-to-perm
• Home Time: Home daily on local routes
• Overnight Routes: Occasional single-night out-and-back trips may be assigned
• Route Type: Local
• Freight: General freight, primarily drop-and-hook
• Handling: Approximately 85–90% pull-off-and-sign deliveries, with freight breakdowns required at times
• Equipment: Single- and double-axle day cabs pulling primarily 53-foot dry van trailers
• Transmission: Automatic
• Overnight Accommodations: Hotel accommodations and meals are paid for when overnight routes are assigned

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL-A day cab on assigned local routes
• Deliver general freight to assigned customers while following applicable safety standards
• Complete pull-off-and-sign deliveries and perform freight breakdowns when required
• Safely handle and secure freight throughout the delivery process
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and operations
• Follow all safety procedures and delivery protocols
• Complete occasional single-night overnight routes when assigned
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Ability to safely operate day cabs and dry van trailers
• Ability to handle freight and perform breakdowns when required
