Job summary

4th Day Trucking is hiring for a SEMI Local CDL-A position with 12pm to 4pm start times. Drivers operate within a 150-mile radius of the yard, enjoy 100% home daily time, and typical weekly hours of 55–70. Night shifts are available, with two schedule options: Sun-Thu or Tue-Sat.

Hazmat endorsement is a plus, but not required, and a clean driving record and DOT medical card are mandatory. Responsibilities include slip-seat operation, mounting containers at the ramp, and routine safety checks.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card required.
• Must reside within 25 miles of dispatch yard.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required.
• Solid driving record and safety history; drug screening mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Operate within a 150-mile radius of yard.
• Week 55–70 hours; 10–12 hour shifts.
• Night shifts available; Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday schedules.
• 100% home daily with resets at home after each shift.
• Slip-seat operation; container mounting at ramp; ramp delays possible.
