S&H Express is hiring CDL A Local Dry Van Drivers in York, PA. For over 30 years, the company has focused on safety, quality equipment, and ESOP ownership.

Earn a guaranteed minimum weekly pay of $1,500 plus per-mile rates, with weekly direct deposit and strong benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance. Drivers work Monday–Friday with home daily and weekends, within 250 miles of York, PA and no NYC routing.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• CDL A license required.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
• No DUI/DWIs in last 5 years.
• No more than 3 preventable accidents in past 3 years depending on severity.
• Must meet DOT testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical, & background check.
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 30 miles of York, PA or be willing to relocate for this position.

Compensation

• Guaranteed minimum weekly pay: $1,500
• Paid 86 CPM for 1-100 mile loads
• Paid 69 CPM for 101-225 mile loads
• Paid 64 CPM for 226+ mile loads
• Detention pay
• Bonuses:
  • Monthly safety incentives up to $500
  • Referral bonus: $1,500 paid over 3 months for referred company drivers with 1+ year of experience
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home time: Home daily & home weekends!
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Day shift start times of 1:00-3:00am or 4:00-6:00am available
• Route: Within a 250 mile radius of York, PA
  • No NYC!
• Level of Touch: 100% No touch freight

Equipment

• Truck fleet is less than 5 years old!
• Automatic & manual transmission
• Governed speed: 65 mph on pedal, 67 mph on cruise
• Event triggered inward & outward facing cameras
• ELD equipped using Samsara system

• Must have CDL A license
