Job summary

A national transportation company is seeking a Driver to haul hazmat materials locally from Bethlehem to various customer sites. The position offers average weekly pay ranging from $1,500 to $1,600+, with home time daily. Key requirements include 3 months of Class A experience with a 53-foot trailer, a clean MVR, and the ability to pass drug tests. Additional training for flatbed and curtain side trailer operations will be provided.

• Hauling hazmat building materials and construction type materials.
• Driving in NYC and performing live unload deliveries.
• Strapping and unstrapping freight on flatbed and curtain side trailers.

Job description

W2 Account – Dedicated Acct

Position Details – Driver will be hauling hazmat building materials and construction type materials from Bethlehem DC to customer sites in NYC, NJ, PA, DE, MD.

• Dry van deliveries will be live unload.
• Driver will be required to strap and unstrap for flatbed and curtain side trailers.
• Drivers will not touch freight unless specified beforehand that a customer needs product tailgated; in that instance, freight will be brought to the tailgate with a manual pallet jack.
• Drivers will be required to drive in NYC.

Schedule

Shift: Mon‑Fri. Start time: 02:30 am‑05:00 am. Days off: Saturday and Sunday.

Additional Details

Home every day. Will be required to work on average of 1 day per week on other accounts. Uniforms and steel‑toed boots and safety vest required and provided by account.

Pay

Drivers average $1,500‑$1,600+ weekly.

Requirements

• 3 months Class A experience with a 53‑foot trailer.
• Clean MVR.
• Clean background.
• No SAP drivers.
• Must be able to pass a hair and urine drug test and a DOT physical.
• Hazmat required at time of schedule. Tanker endorsement is preferred.
• Driver will receive Flatbed and Curtain side trailer training.
